What was a personal risk you took that reaped rewards beyond your wildest dreams?
Accepting a position at State Farm was a tremendous risk. With a BFA, I dreamed of painting my way to fame and fortune. As an artist, choosing to work in the very UN-abstract world of insurance was difficult. However, my creativity has been a tremendous asset in solving problems and guiding my associates. 24 years later, I’m still guided by my artist’s heart, and reaping the rewards.
